7) FAQ

1)    Creating a collection :

URows software does not display a "New Collection" option in the menu.
However, at every start of the application, URows displays a new empty  collection with no name, that you may modify at will.
Another way to create a new collection, is to open the empty.col collection (an empty collection), and to save it under a different name.

2)    Adding/removing coins

Adding or removing coins is done through a right-click on the appropriate coin.
Mac OS X users have to do the equivalent for their platform ("apple-click" ?)

3)    Saving a collection:

The option "File-->Save" lets you save a collection under its last saving name.
The option "File-->Save as..." lets you specify a new name for this collection or to do a copy of it

4)    Opening a collection:

the option "File-->Open..." lets you open one of the available collections.

5)    Printing images:

The option "File-->Print" gives you access to several print modes, including image printing.
(options ending with ("IMAGES")).
For the collection currently open, you may print:
1) Your missing coins
2) The coins you already own (called "present" coins).
A third option ("print all") lets you print ALL the coins from ALL the countries.

6)   Printing texts:

Drinking far less ink from your printer, the text mode printing displays the country names as well as the values of the coins.

The available options in this mode are printing of :

1) Your missing coins
2) The coins you already own
Before the printing actually takes place, a window has the text displayed, letting you modify it before printing.

7)    FAQ:

a) I'd like to send a  list of my tradable coins
b) I'd like to send by mail a  list of the coins I have/miss
c) I'd like to send by mail one/several of my collections, to someone having URows already installed
d) At first start of the software, I've chosen a wrong language and would like to change it

I'd like to send a  list of my tradable coins

It is advised to create a collection (or several if you care about particular years), including
your "tradable" coins.
When you are in the "TEXT" printMode, a window displays the text to be printed.
Please note that you may edit all of the window's content, then copy it  (Ctrl+C for Windows), and
finally paste it  (Ctrl+V for Windows) in the body of a mail , for instance.
When this window is displayed, it is not mandatory to print its content, and you may abort the print through the "cancel"
button.

cf.    I'd like to send a  list of my tradable coins

I'd like to send by mail one/several of my collections, to someone having URows already installed

If you know someone having URows already installed (whatever the platform), you may send to her/him any collection
of yours (files with ".col" extension).
You just have to attach the chosen file(s) to a mail and send the mail to that person.
URows is able to open these collection files on any platform.

At first start of the software, I've chosen a wrong language and would like to change it

If you ever chose a wrong language at first start  the better way
to have another access to the "language choice", is to delete the file called "approps",
which you will find in URows's installation directory.
While doing this, it is strongly advised that URows isn't running .
Then, at next start of URows, you will be prompted again to choose a language.
